Apacer’s DDR4 Anti-sulfuration Server Memory Provides The Highest Protection

Remote offices, online learning, and e-commerce have grown rapidly because of the coronavirus-driven shift to working from home, resulting in increased demand for server memory. From cloud computing to small- and medium-sized edge applications, many fields have expanded their data centers. These new data centers often find themselves being challenged by the issue of pollution. To address this, leading industrial memory manufacturer Apacer has leveraged its anti-sulfuration patent to launch server memory equipped with the highest specifications of sulfur protection currently available. This DDR4 anti-sulfuration server memory stands apart from competitors in the market and enhances the reliability of data centers. To reduce the impact of pollutants on the system availability of information appliances, large data centers implement strict environmental control management and regulate indoor air quality according to the highest standard set by the International Society of Automation (ISA): 71.04-2013 G1. They also require relevant information equipment to have an anti-corrosion design, ensuring that the server can run under optimal operating conditions. These approaches have recently been adopted by small- and medium-sized data centers as well as edge server applications, which prompted Apacer to create its high-spec DDR4 anti-sulfuration server memory in order to provide a more value-added selection than is currently on offer from competing DRAM manufacturers.
Downtime accidents caused by environmental challenges have seriously affected the performance and reliability of data centers. The use of products with sulfur corrosion resistance can help increase the service life of equipment, which is especially critical for data centers with high-reliability requirements. According to Apacer’s analysis, most data centers in the past used standard server memory. As anti-sulfuration memory gradually moves from niche applications to the mainstream market, data centers will provide business opportunities that help popularize anti-sulfuration technology. Apacer has promoted its anti-sulfurization patent layout for many years and has obtained anti-sulfurization memory module patents in two data center markets: the United States and China. This technology is a tool for expanding the global data center market.
Apacer’s anti-sulfuration server memory adopts the highest quality DRAM ICs and anti-sulfur passive components from major manufacturers. The gold finger plating thickness is up to 30u, which is the highest standard on the market. The maximum supported speed is an impressive 3200 MT/s. Apacer offers 4GB to 32GB capacity options and VLP (Very Low Profile) board sizes and can meet the application needs of data centers, edge computing, and networking equipment from the cloud to the edge.

AMD's GPU technology enters the mobile phone chip market for the first time

In addition to the release of the Exynos2100 processor, Samsung also confirmed a major event at this Exynos event, that is, the custom GPU that they have worked with AMD for many years will soon appear and will be used on the next flagship machine. The current Exynos2100 processor uses ARM’s Mali-G78GPU core with a total of 14 cores, so the GPU architecture developed by Samsung will be the next Exynos processor, and the GPU will be the focus. This is probably the meaning of Exynos2100’s GPU stacking. The key reason. Dr. InyupKang, president of Samsung’s LSI business, confirmed that the next-generation mobile GPU in cooperation with AMD will be used in the next flagship product, but he did not specify which product. Samsung is not talking about the next-generation flagship but the next one, so it is very likely that a new Exynos processor will be available this year, either for the Galaxy Note 21 series or the new generation of folding screen Galaxy ZFold 3. In 2019, AMD and Samsung rea...

Highlights of the day: MediaTek sees robust orders

MediaTek has booked more capacities at foundries and backend service providers for the second half of 2020. MediaTek is seeing robust demand not only for its smartphone chips but also for its other offerings. As far as chip supply is concerned, Apple is ditching Intel and equipping its next Macs with its own processors. Taiwan-based Unimicron is being identified as potentially a major supplier of ABF substrates for the Apple silicon. Meanwhile, Kioxia is expected to complete its acquisition of Lite-On Tech's SSD unit in July, after a few months' delay in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak. MediaTek books additional capacities for wafer foundry and backend services: MediaTek has increased its bookings for additional capacities at Taiwan's wafer foundry houses, mainly TSMC, and backend IC packaging and testing service firms for the second half of 2020 as the firm is ramping up chip shipments not only for 4G/5G smartphones but also for tablet, networking, TV, STB, IoT and...
